Work You'll Do
- Analyzing, revising, and negotiating confidentiality agreements (including in the context of M&A transactions), and various other agreements.
- Advising practitioners and risk managers of the Deloitte US Firms on contract-related issues.
- Negotiating various agreements with clients, vendors, and other parties.
- Assisting with important internal projects relating to internal process improvement and knowledge management.
- Drafting documents and correspondence.
- Performing other functions such as contract summarizing, proofreading, redlining, and organizing and maintaining reference materials and databases.
- Performing legal research.
- Familiarity with professional service agreements is a plus.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience as a paralegal and/or legal assistant
- Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Paralegal certificate
- Ability to deliver high-impact, high-visibility legal-focused projects on behalf of OGC attorneys working alongside cross-functional external/internal teams in a virtual environment.
