Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Design, develop and implementation of reports, dashboard, applications using JasperReports. Ensure that reports are of the highest quality and delivered on time. Work with functional team, technical leads and developers to understand business requirements and specific analytics and reporting needs. Work within an Agile methodology to design, develop, test, and implement analytics and reporting features and functions. Collect, summarize, analyze data and to provide reports for departments to utilize in decision making and measuring results. Create queries to provide ad hoc reports, analysis, and datasets based on business needs. Trouble shoot data issues, validate result sets, recommend and implement process improvements. Use knowledge of ETL data cleansing, data quality, and standardization techniques. Translate business reporting requirements into a production report. Create report mockups and templates from business requirements when necessary. Understand and query disparate database sources, including relational structures, dimensional data marts/models and cubes. Design and architect schema layer objects for report development. Work collaboratively in a small, cross-functional team. Analyze, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. Work with other cross functional teams to solve business problems.

Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architecting organizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to win in their chosen markets.
Artificial Intelligence & Data Engineering will work with our clients to:
Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms.
Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions.
Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline, or equivalent experience
- Must hold an active Secret Clearance
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Jasper Reports using iReport Designer/iReport Studio
- 3 years of experience in designing complex reports using Jaspersoft Studio
- 3 years of experience in report deployment and configuration
- 3 years of experience in creating Ad Hoc Reports, OLAP, Views, Domains
- 3 years of experience in user and role management on Jaspersoft server
- 3 years of experience in developing Complex Reports using Jaspersoft Server and Jaspersoft Studio
- 3 years of experience in creating Ad Hoc Reports using Views and Domains
- 3 years of experience in creating dashboards with visualizations
- 3 years of experience handling and producing different file formats: CSV, XML, HTML, XLSX and PDF among others
- 3 years of experience in working with Jasper server
- 3 years of experience creating test cases, test data and working with QA team to ensure accurate and complete testing
- 3 years of experience creating technical documentation of report logic and processes
- 3 years of experience in data visualization
- 3 years of experience in one language
- 3 years of experience in PSQL/TSQL/PLSQL
- 2 years of experience in SQL, PSQL (or related), Views, Stored Procedures, Databases
- 2 years of Jaspersoft Architecture and Deployment
- 2 years of experience in Cloud Native Development
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Travel up to 10% annually, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,000 to $110,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
