Work You'll Do
As a Senior Manager you will lead and support various internal applications and infrastructure and the complex programs surrounding these applications including internal consultants, near-shore, off-shore technologists and multiple vendor relationships. You will work across geographies with accountability for the success, effectiveness and delivery of multiple work streams, managing a large, dispersed technology team. You will lead planning and budgeting, define deliverable structures and content, facilitate the buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels, directing the on-time quality delivery of work, managing technology economics and risk. You'll help organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to pricing strategies, develop practical solutions and methodologies, develop "thoughtware" and "point of view" documents. You'll perform the role of counsellor and coach for other IT staff members and provide input and guidance into the future staffing needs. You'll provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $158,900 to $292,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, the individual, and organizational performance.

Qualifications
- 12 years' experience in application support including "lights on" support services, development and customization
- 10 years' experience leading geographically dispersed teams to develop, design and support technical solutions in Java, Microsoft technologies, both on Cloud and .Net
- 10 years' experience leading large-scale global technology teams in a delivery lead capacity
- Hands-on development skills in at least one of the following: 1) Java; 2) .Net; 3) Mainframe
- A strong understanding of the fundamentals of software engineering with the ability to successfully articulate technology concepts to both a business and a technology audience
- Experience working in a multi-vendor environment and with third parties
- Experience using AI tools and technologies to streamline operations and create efficiencies in delivery and delivery management
- Extensive team leadership experience which should include managing people, projects, clients and financials including delivery targets, revenue targets and business development targets.
- Experience managing large commercial sector projects in a consulting firm environment in the role of Delivery Leader/Manager with either cross-industry experience or with deep experience in retail or consumer products.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, information technology or a related field.
Preferred
- Ability to quickly learn and deliver on analogous technologies not previously worked on;
- PMP certification and ITIL certification, strongly preferred.
- Other certifications are a plus - AWS, AI, GCP, etc.
