Work You'll Do

As an Edge Strategist on the AI Strategy team, you will be responsible for:

• Conduct stakeholder and end-user interviews and lead working sessions to identify business needs, process gaps, and readiness for adoption.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize AI use cases based on business value, feasibility, and risk.
• Partner with client leaders, product owners, architects, engineers, and Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) to validate and prototype AI-enabled solutions using client data, tools, and accelerators.
• Define business requirements, success measures, user experience, and future-state operating-model requirements for AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop evidence-based business cases, value-tracking frameworks, reusable assets, sequenced roadmaps, and change plans that support adoption and inform decisions on quality, cost, latency, and risk.

AI Strategy is part of Deloitte's Strategy & Transactions practice. The team works with clients and technical specialists to identify, validate, and advance AI opportunities that support measurable business outcomes. Practitioners combine strategy, rapid experimentation, and implementation planning to help clients move from idea to execution.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in one of the following: business, economics, engineering, computer science.
• 4 years of experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, or technology strategy.
• 1 years of experience applying enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) platforms or tools to business use cases and shaping, scoping, or contributing to AI initiatives from business case development through adoption.
• Experience developing AI opportunity assessments, business cases, or roadmaps based on business problems.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required, without the need for overnight accommodations.
• You can expect to co-locate on average 1-2 times a week with variations based on types of work/projects and client locations.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience developing AI value frameworks, including return on investment (ROI) modeling, value tracking, and key performance indicator (KPI) frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with client technical teams, program stakeholders, and onshore/offshore delivery teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience with process redesign, change management, and user adoption.
• Experience applying responsible AI practices and governance, security, privacy, and compliance requirements to AI initiatives.
• Experience developing executive presentations and delivering product demonstrations.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms and tools, including Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, and Palantir.
  
  

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $128,000 to $252,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
