The Team
Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver value-added, and efficient Tax services to our clients. The Tax Transformation Office is responsible for the definition of standard processes to support the delivery of Tax services, and the related development and deployment of technology to enable service delivery and unlock our strategy. Tax Transformation consists of professionals with varying backgrounds ranging from Tax Professionals, Strategy & Operations, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and other IT professionals.
Work you’ll do
As a Product Strategy Lead within Tax Transformation your role will span and oversee many areas of a transformation initiative including delivery strategy, business case development, program management, stakeholder engagement, impact analysis, budget management, organizational change management, product development and deployment. You will have the opportunity to team with senior leaders as well as own day-to-day operations of a workstream and / or project. These efforts will support a portfolio of Digital transformation programs impacting a global audience, and with visibility to the highest levels of our firm leadership.
- Collaborate across multiple transformation projects and project manage business critical multi-year global transformation projects
- Facilitate issue resolution by gathering data, framing the problem, establishing a plan for resolution, and executing against the plan
- Manage multi-million-dollar budgets to ensure stated program objectives are met
- Manage multiple workstreams with scoping, planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, communications, and training identifying potential project risks and demonstrate awareness of project interdependencies
- Creating and managing integrated timelines, realigning delivery plans with direction from the leadership and through conversations with other key stakeholders
- Build a network within Tax Transformation and across Tax and the global firm to enhance the effectiveness of the work you deliver
- Track project status, risk, and issue communications and develop executive level PowerPoint presentations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
- 2 years of experience within a product support role
- Strong analytical, consultative, storyboarding, and project management skills
- Experience juggling multiple priorities, delivering against aggressive deliverable timelines, and reporting on status of multiple workstreams
- Ability to interact and interface with all levels within the firm, including top leadership
- Expert in Microsoft applications (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Experience in driving cross-organizational initiatives
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Tax
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Working with clients on a global scale
- Storyboarding
- Change Management experience
- One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Vendor Certification for Management of Implementations (Oracle, SAP, Thomson Reuters, etc.)
- Project Management (PMP)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
- Six Sigma (Black Belt)
- Other - additional various tax technology accreditations may be acceptable based on business review and approval

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,800 to $189,800.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
