Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
- Technical leadership: Own architecture and implementation across front-end (React) and back-end (Python), ensuring maintainability and scalability
- Data & database engineering: Design schemas, write and optimize complex SQL queries, manage migrations, and improve performance.
- Engineering excellence: Establish and enforce standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, documentation, and observability (logging/metrics/tracing).

Qualifications
Required
- 6 years of professional software development experience, including full stack delivery
- 2 years in a lead role (tech lead, team lead, or equivalent) guiding engineering decisions and delivery
- 6 years with Python (building APIs/services; common frameworks such as FastAPI/Django/Flask)
- 6 years with SQL (data modeling, query optimization, indexing, performance tuning)
- 6 years with React (component design, state management, performance considerations)
- 6 years of Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, or distributed systems patterns.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
