Job description:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Service Writer to join our busy, established auto repair shop. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and prior experience in the automotive service industry.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and schedule service appointments
- Prepare accurate repair orders and cost estimates
- Communicate with technicians and customers throughout the repair process
- Ensure excellent customer service and organization in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a service writer or service advisor (Required)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Basic computer skills; experience with shop management software a plus; specifically RO Writer program or similar
