As our clinic grows, we are seeking a reliable and friendly Patient Care Coordinator to help manage our daily operations and provide excellent front-desk support.
Position Summary
The Patient Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients visiting our clinic. This role involves welcoming patients, managing schedules, completing intake paperwork, processing payments, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional environment
Manage the clinic schedule, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments
Assist patients with intake paperwork and ensure accuracy of information
Collect and process patient payments, maintain accurate records, and manage billing documentation
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Coordinate communication between the provider, patients, and hospital staff as needed
Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations
Perform general office tasks such as scanning, filing, and organizing patient records
Qualifications
Previous experience in healthcare, customer service, or administration is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfort with computers, scheduling systems, and payment processing
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
