Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining experience and promote sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area while adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
- Process cash transactions efficiently while managing POS systems and handling basic math for accurate billing.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential; fine dining or banquet experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing (mixology), wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer is required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling skills are necessary for smooth operations.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Experience in beverage recipe development or catering enhances your ability to contribute creatively to our menu offerings.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling are critical.
