This position is responsible for the electrical maintenance and repair of all production related machinery and equipment. Must have the following skills and experience: Electrical/electronic repair in a manufacturing plant; strong knowledge working with PLC's; instrumentation, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration. Work well in a team-based environment with limited supervision and be available to work as needed should emergencies arise.Key Responsibilities:Associates will operate, maintain & fix all production equipment associated within the department to prevent and/or correct mechanical & electrical breakdowns following strict product safety & quality standards.Operate, maintain, and fix site utilities (CO2, LN2, CDA and O2 ).Electrical/electronic troubleshooting in a manufacturing plant.Background in industrial, mechanical, electrical, computer systemsKnowledge of & capable of performing special technical skill (electrical troubleshooting, basic PLC skills, machining, welding tasks, high pressure gases)Instrumentation, troubleshooting, repair and calibration. Knowledge of electrical installation & construction, AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, hydraulics & pneumatics systemsKnowledge of or be willing and able to train in maintenance systems (SAP), lubricants & lubricating systems, & new technologies in predictive maintenanceSupport continuous improvement programs through active participation in plant productivity programsComply and actively participate in all safety and environmental policies, procedures and programsHow will you get here?High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree a plus but not requiredExperience3 years (Three 12-month periods) maintenance related experience, including a minimum of 1500 hours of on-the-job experience.Experience with Windows based PCsExperienced to repair heating equipment, fix gas-fired equipment and calibrate all gas-related controls.Expertise with PLCs: instrumentation, repair and calibration.Background in industrial, mechanical, electrical, computer systemsExperience with Windows based PC's.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journalsAbility to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers5 years of electrical/electronic troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing plant preferred.Other Job Requirements:Adhere to OHS policies and procedures and ensure a safe and balanced workplace environmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee must be aware of potential exposure to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; and high noise areas.Company DescriptionDella Infotech Inc is in the staffing business for 10 years.
