Job Summary:
The Body Shop Office Assistant at DELLA Auto Group will provide administrative support and assist in daily operations at our Queensbury, New York location. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth office operations. The Office Assistant will report to the Body Shop Manager and will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks.
Compensation & Benefits:
This will be paid on a weekly basis. In addition to competitive pay, eligible employees will also receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and the opportunity for career growth and development within our company. The salary range is $16 to $19 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate person
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Collect and distribute daily mail and deliveries
- Manage and maintain office supplies inventory
- Assist with basic accounting tasks, including preparing invoices and processing payments
- Create and maintain electronic and physical files for easy retrieval
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the company database
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the Body Shop Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior administrative experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive and professional attitude
- Must be able to pass a background check
