Job Summary:
The Service Manager at DELLA Auto Group is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the service department at our dealership. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that requires a skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in the auto industry. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, managing service technicians, and meeting dealership profitability goals.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a salaried position with a compensation range of $55,000 to $80,000 per year, paid semi-monthly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, retirement savings plans, and opportunities for advancement within our company.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of the service department, including customer service, repairs, and maintenance
• Manage and supervise a team of service technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure quality work and efficiency
• Monitor and track service department performance metrics to meet or exceed dealership profitability goals
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote loyalty and repeat business
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operation and coordination of services
• Hire, train, and evaluate service department staff to maintain a high level of expertise and professionalism
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in the automotive industry preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive service industry, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory position
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in automotive diagnostic and repair equipment and software
• Knowledge of dealership operations and financial management
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
