What you'll achieve
You will help define and evolve the observability strategy for our services, ensuring engineers have the right insights to build, operate, and scale high-quality software. You'll work across teams to deliver robust telemetry, enhance reliability, and enable data-driven operational excellence.
You will:
- Build scalable telemetry pipelines using technologies such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Jaeger, Tempo, or similar.
- Develop instrumentation libraries, SDKs, agents, and exporters for distributed services.
- Optimize ingestion, storage, and query performance for high-volume telemetry data.
- Partner with engineering and SRE teams to define and measure SLIs/SLOs/SLAs.
- Automate deployments and configuration of observability systems
- Implement observability frameworks covering metrics, logs, traces, profiling, and events.

Essential Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in a Software Engineering role
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes, containers, service mesh architectures)
- Hands-on expertise with modern observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, PrometheGrafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic, etc.).
- Familiarity and understanding of distributed systems, telemetry data flows, and performance engineering
- Experience building automation and CI/CD pipelines
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or related experience
