Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload packages using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when necessary, and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, moving items within the facility, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with knowledge of route driving best practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, and moving goods safely.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards for box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus.
- Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles over long distances in various weather conditions.

Pay: $23.36 - $28.14 per hour
