Expectations

• • Delivery & Distribution Solutions expectations of a considerable Warehouse Associate is that they will be able to engage in sorting and organizing 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday. In addition, our warehouse associate is expected to run routes when assigned. 
  • Our warehouse associates are expected to report in a timely fashion, clean uniform, and maintain communication with the dispatch office regarding any shorts, returns, or other sorting and organizing issues. 
  • Physical and mental health is also critical to our warehouse team. So, they can effectively perform actions necessary to complete the assigned tasks.
  • Warehouse Associates will need to be expected and required to close the warehouse, and open if needed. 

• This role is critical to all operations in our region. The right package must be sorted for every load to ensure our guarantee to our customer of On Time Delivery. Our expectations for our warehouse associate is that they have superior attention to detail.

Requirements

• Impeccable and superior attention to detail. 

• Communicate and report directly to your area manager on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack. and or electric pallet jack.
• Having a flexible schedule allowing possible routes and deliveries when required.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, handling complaints from clients and generating or effective solutions that are off DDS standards.
• Have computer literacy, with technology intuitiveness and effectively demonstrated with detail. 
• Ability to pick up boxes up to 70lbs.
• Uniform and Branding 
• Completion of route assigned.

Job Duties

• Sorting Freight and organizing pickups for drivers for the North Carolina Area. 
• Enforce positive partnerships with clients and team members for an optimal working environment.
• Transporting and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner when assigned to routes.
• Load and unload items for drivers as needed.
• Attend regular meetings to discuss safety, quality and ideas for improvement.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
• Have a flexible work schedule to meet demand.
• Deal with stressful situations and generate solutions.
• Drive in inclement weather with minimal adverse effect on transport and delivery schedule.

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay:  Starting $19 / Hour

• Yearly evaluations for pay increase.
  

Day range: Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed.

Experience level: 1 to 2 years.

Must have Valid Driver's license and pass a background check.
