Production Supervisor
Location: Elkhart, Indiana
Delivery Concepts, Inc. — one of the world’s leading manufacturers of Meals on Wheels and custom temperature-control vehicles — is seeking a hands-on and highly organized Production Supervisor to oversee one of our production lines.
The Production Supervisor will manage the day-to-day operations of their assigned line, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are consistently met. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational skills who can motivate their team, manage schedules, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all activities on the assigned production line.
- Maintain organized workflows to ensure products are built accurately and delivered on time.
- Monitor production processes to achieve goals in productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Resolve daily issues related to scheduling, equipment, or personnel needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Train, mentor, and guide team members to achieve peak performance.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting related to line performance.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively oversee line operations.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate team members.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of personal integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills; MS Office knowledge preferred.
