Role Description
The Production Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of manufacturing processes, products, and materials at Delivery Concepts. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing quality control processes, performing inspections, troubleshooting production issues, and working closely with the production team to improve product quality. You will also document and analyze data to support continuous improvement efforts. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Elkhart, IN.
Qualifications
- Experience with quality control systems, inspection techniques, and root cause analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with tools for quality assurance
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to recommend process improvements
- Strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with production teams and management
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or vehicle upfitting is a plus
- Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma certification is advantageous
