Requirements:Key Responsibilities
- Perform final finishing on fiberglass products, including sanding, buffing, polishing, and detailing surfaces.
- Inspect products for defects such as scratches, air bubbles, uneven surfaces, or cosmetic imperfections.
- Repair minor defects using appropriate materials and techniques to meet quality standards.
- Ensure all parts meet company specifications, customer expectations, and quality requirements prior to shipment.
- Follow work instructions, finishing standards, and quality guidelines consistently.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively (sanders, buffers, grinders, etc.).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in alignment with 5S/6S standards.
- Work closely with production, quality, and supervisors to address and resolve defects.
- Track and report recurring defects or issues to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Meet production goals while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE such as respirators, gloves, and eye protection.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in fiberglass finishing, automotive body work, manufacturing, or similar hands-on roles preferred.
- Experience with sanding, polishing, or surface finishing techniques is a strong plus.
