At DeliverCareRx you will work in a state-of-the-art centralized call center and fulfillment operation at either the company’s corporate headquarters or one of our regional pharmacies.Currently, DeliverCareRx is searching for full-time pharmacists to work in our West Deptford, New Jersey pharmacy. This role is responsible for acquiring and dispensing prescriptions for hospice patients while ensuring medication therapy is appropriate for the patient.Key ResponsibilitiesThis position is ideal for those who love working in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail. Key elements of the role can include:Collaborate with co-workers and other healthcare professionals to acquire and review prescriptions to determine appropriate medication therapy Review and verify physician medication orders on a daily basisOversee medications prepared by pharmacy techniciansProvide Drug Utilization ReviewFocus on quality assurance to correctly interpret physician orders and to prevent medication errorsProvide high quality customer service to patients and caregiversCounsel patients and caregivers on medication therapy as neededUtilize sound judgment to make appropriate decisions in the best interest of patients and the companyProvide rotating on call services to patients on an emergency basisAssist with inventory functions including, but not limited to physical inventory, cycle counting, medication adjustmentsComplete other duties as assignedRequired Skills and Abilities Outstanding ethical personal character with commitment to compliance and integrity Analytical and operational process skillsJudgment/decision-making capabilityAbility to manage multiple priorities and prioritize dutiesHighly organized and efficient in a fast paced and growing environmentSuperior customer service and relationship skillsSelf-motivated and energetic team player with a positive attitudeWorking knowledge of computer technology for prescription managementHigh degree of accuracy in data entry and/or fulfillment while meeting volume targetsAbility to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environmentExcellent problem solving skillsEducation and Experience RequirementsB.S. or PharmD degreeCurrent State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free WorkplaceDeliverCareRx is a drug-free workplace that conducts pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing.
