What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Groomer position at Delighted Pets, Inc.?
Delighted Pets is a 5-star Canine Club located in Brewster. We offer daycare, grooming, training, and boarding. We're looking for a full-time groomer to join our growing team!
Schedule Requirements:
- Hours are from 7 AM - 3 PM, Monday-Friday. Occasional weekend days.
- Applicant will prep dogs for grooming (washing, drying, brushing, clipping nails.)
- Applicant will perform full grooms and have a solid knowledge of breed standard cuts for a large variety of breeds.
- Ability to perform proper fluff drying and brushing technique.
- Routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment safe and inviting..
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Job Requirements:
- A strong love of and respect for dogs.
- Professional experience working in dog grooming.
- RELIABLE - ability to establish a recurring weekly schedule with consistent punctuality.
- Minimum of 6 month commitment, as to not disturb our schedule or negatively impact the dogs by leaving.
- Contract agreement - we are looking for long-term team members.
- Professionalism is key. We thrive on excellent customer service and communication!
Advantage for applications who:
