Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable PM Warehouse Lead (9 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday) to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for efficient food service material handling, food order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, and cardboard baler, with a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Candidates with warehouse management system knowledge and experience in food service operation are highly preferred. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, mechanical knowledge, and attention to detail are paramount.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Perform order picking and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately
- Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including verifying shipments and preparing items for dispatch
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to OSHA standards and safety guidelines
- Manage materials handling processes for inventory organization and storage efficiency
- Support warehouse supervisors in maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues
- Assist in department tasks as needed, utilizing relevant skills
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a warehouse
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, order picking, shipping & receiving procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- OSHA certification or knowledge of OSHA safety standards for industrial operations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with pallet jacks and other material handling tools
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices
- Prior experience in warehouse lead or supervision is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
