Delicious Cakes! in Addison, TX, is looking for one ( part-time) skilled custom/wedding cake decorator to join our 14-person strong team. We are located at 14819 Inwood Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.
Qualifications:
- Be able to decorate 2 - 3 tiered custom cakes & wedding cakes.
- Be able to attack a creative 3-D custom fondant cake with no fear
- Strong organization skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen
- Excellent work ethic - be on time to work, clock out on time, and be able to manage time like you mean it
- Deadline-oriented, leadership, and recognize details with orders
- Food Handler certified -current
- Minimum 2 years of custom cake decorating experience
- Must show portfolio of great works in wedding cakes & custom cakes
- Being bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus
- Current driver's license
Responsibilities:
- Decorate wedding cakes and custom cakes to detail daily during the operation time
- Work and create structural custom cakes using Fondant, decoration props, and toppers.
- Be able to pipe and write buttercream messages beautifully on a cake
- Be able to deliver wedding cake as a team for the delivery crew when necessary.
- Help the BOH team with cleaning & organizing the kitchen area daily
- Be able to work on small dessert bar tems like cupcake, cakeballs, tarts, etc
- Teamwork, following order direction, working together with the in-house team, and the store management team to deliver outstanding finished products on time.
