Corporate Catering Coordinator & Prep Assistant
Starting Pay: $18–$20 per hour, plus delivery gratuities
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, approximately 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Earlier start times may occasionally be required based on catering demand. This is a weekday corporate catering position with no nights or weekends.

Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Corporate Catering Coordinator & Prep Assistant to help prepare, organize, and deliver catering orders to our corporate customers. This is a hands-on position that requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced catering kitchen.
This position does not involve cooking. However, previous cold-food preparation or catering experience is required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Print and carefully review catering orders at the beginning of each shift.
- Identify missing information and ask questions of customers or internal team members as needed.
- Organize all food and non-food components required for each order.
- Count and pack plates, napkins, cutlery, serving utensils, paper products, condiments, and other supplies.
- Complete basic food-preparation tasks, including portioning dressings, counting mayonnaise and mustard packets, and placing pickles or other items into serving containers.
- Assist with cold sandwich and salad preparation.
- Match printed labels with the correct food items and catering orders.
- Double-check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
- Organize completed orders for delivery.
- Load catering orders carefully into delivery vehicles.
- Assist with deliveries using a company-provided vehicle.
- Communicate professionally with corporate customers and coworkers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area.
- Follow all company procedures and food-safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous catering, deli, cold-food preparation, or similar food-service experience is required.
- No cooking experience is necessary.
- English communication skills are required to read orders, understand instructions, ask questions, and communicate with customers and team members.
- Basic computer skills, including using email, printing orders, and printing corresponding order labels.
- Strong attention to detail and counting accuracy.
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple catering orders and deadlines.
- Dependable and able to report to work by 6:00 a.m. or earlier when required.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and helpful attitude when interacting with customers.
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required for company-vehicle deliveries.
