Catering Prep Cook (Itasca, IL)
$19–$20/hr | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–1:00 PM
Deli Time LLC is hiring a Catering Prep Cook for our Itasca location. This role focuses on from-scratch, large-batch food preparation for catering orders. This is not a line cook position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food from scratch using standardized recipes
- Large-batch cooking for catering and banquet-style orders
- Pack and organize catering orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and follow health department standards
- Restock supplies and assist with loading/unloading catering vans
- Participate in daily cleaning duties
Requirements
- Prior food service experience required
- Ability to work independently and manage time well
- Strong attention to food safety and cleanliness
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- English proficiency
- Valid driver’s license and good customer service skills
Additional Opportunity:
Team members with a driver’s license and strong customer service skills may assist with catering deliveries and earn tips in addition to hourly pay.
