What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Maintenance Technician position at Deli Muz, LLC?
We are a residential landlord with about 240 units in Evansville. Most of the work we do involves getting properties ready for rent between tenants, but we need someone to answer work orders for tenants. We are looking for a person who is EPA certified to do HVAC diagnosis and repair, appliance repair, basic electrical, basic plumbing, minor roof repair, installation of laminate, vinyl, and carpet flooring, framing/carpentry (especially subfloors), drywall repair and installation, and painting.
Our personnel provide their own personal tools, but we provide basically everything else. Most of the time, you will work on your own and, occasionally, with others.
Oversight from the company is very limited, so honest, dependable, and knowledgeable persons are required, along with the ability to work well with others.
Ten days paid vacation and ten paid holidays vest after six months. We do not have a lot of after-hours calls and we hate the idea of the guys working weekends. We can't promise it will never happen, but it is definitely not policy. We have about one after-hours call every 10-12 months and that is done on a loose rotating basis.
We pay based on your value. If you know a lot and do your job well, we pay well. Competency on your own in multiple disciplines required. We expect you to be good at your job and to complete projects in a timely manner.
