Duties
- Perform professional makeup applications tailored to each client’s preferences for events, photoshoots, or daily wear
- Deliver a wide range of aesthetic treatments including botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and care
- Provide skincare consultations and recommend suitable treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, or dermal fillers to enhance natural beauty
- Manage client communication effectively, ensuring clear understanding of treatment options and aftercare instructions
- Maintain sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools and workspaces according to industry regulations
- Utilize salon software like Millennium or similar platforms for scheduling appointments and managing client records
- Upsell retail products such as skincare lines, makeup products, or hair extensions to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
- Stay current with industry trends by participating in product demos, training sessions, and social media management efforts to promote services
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a makeup artist or aesthetic technician with a strong portfolio of work
- Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing required; additional training in Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments or tattooing preferred
- Knowledge of management systems like Millennium or MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management
- Strong understanding of color theory, skin anatomy, and facial symmetry to deliver customized looks and treatments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients on procedures and aftercare effectively
- Experience with hair styling techniques including hair extensions, threading, and straight razor shaving is a plus
- Ability to maintain high sanitation standards while working efficiently in a busy environment
- Passion for customer service with a friendly attitude that creates an inviting atmosphere for clients
