Schedule:

• Day shift: 6:45am- 3:15pm

Overview:

The Staffing Coordinator for Nursing Services will be responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns for professional and nonprofessional nursing employees.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the master nursing schedule.

• Prepare daily matrix sheets and work diligently to fill.

• Communicate with Staffing Agencies as needed.

• Track all attendance of staff and ensure there is coverage and make-up weekends are scheduled.

• Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action.

• Works with the Director of Nursing to schedule training classes.

• Maintain float and mandating list.

• Follow Union guidelines.

• Keep within the nursing budget.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Must be strong in Excel and Word

• High School diploma or higher

• Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facility.

• Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate

• Work independently

• Proficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word, a plus

• Excellent organizational skills

• Should have a good personality & be able to work well with others
