Production Machine Operator
Delfingen in Niagara Falls is hiring a full time machine operator. This position will train on days then move to 2nd shift once trained. Delfingen is a global manufacturing company specializing in the automotive and industrial markets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- 2 Yrs Industrial / Manufacturing Experience Preferred
- Must Be Flexible
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Must be able to squat, kneel, reach and crouch up to 70% of your shift
- Must be able to train during 1st shift (6:30am-3pm) then move to 2nd shift (2:30pm-10pm). *THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION*
Duties:
- Attention to fine detail and delicate set up instructions
- Raw Material Identification
- Bore Checking, Dielectric Testing
- Assist in documentation of set-up procedures where appropriate.
- Start-up, changeover and shutdown of all lines, as directed by Shift Leader, Maintenance Technician or Production Manager.
- Quality checks and complete and accurate documentation of process and production as specified on the shop work order, work instruction, or quality procedure.
- Follow the shop order instructions to ensure accurate production rates, materials, product and amount.
- Conduct “first piece/last piece” inspection and properly document the results of this procedure.
- Tending and verification of parts as they are produced by the process, completing all required inspections.
- Accounting for and disposal of scrap as requested, in a proper and timely manner. This includes the proper labeling and accounting of all materials.
- Gain technical expertise through “hands-on” experience on the line and involvement with the Shift Leader or Maintenance Technician as they do technical work on the lines.
- Verify quality of production and processes throughout the shift and neatly and accurately document all verification's.
- Verify all tooling procedures are being followed at all times.
- Make adjustments to machines and processes with guidance from the Shift Leader or as outlined in work instructions.
- Follow and utilize current version ISO rules and regulations.
- Assist in training new personnel to perform duties for which he/she is qualified to perform.

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
