What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finishing Team Lead position at DeLeers Construction?
DeLeers Construction is expanding our Eagle River, WI team! We currently have an opening for an Finishing Team Lead. The Finishing Team Lead will be hands on and will be responsible to act as a motivator, supervisor, and mentor for the entire finishing team. Working as a Team Leader involves organization, delegation, management, and performance monitoring. Responsibilities include supervising the day-to-day operations of their team, making sure everyone is accomplishing their duties, distributing the workload evenly and making sure motivation and performance levels are maintained. The Team Lead will also be dealing with the day-to-day operational aspects of the team management, training, and development, and will also be involved in some of the high-level organizational strategy and administration, as well as collaboration with other department Team Leaders to improve and/or develop work processes.

Successful candidates must have superior problem solving and organizational skills and be computer literate. Professional communication skills to talk with field associates, trade partners, and owners is required. Ideal candidates will have 10 years of experience in the construction industry, and a minimum of 5 years in a Finish & Trim carpentry role.
