Deli & Bakery Associate

About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly and dependable Deli & Bakery Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll prepare fresh deli items, baked goods, and ready-to-eat products while providing excellent customer service. If you enjoy working with food, helping customers, and keeping things organized, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers at the deli and bakery counters
- Slice, weigh, and package meats and cheeses safely and accurately
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other ready-to-eat foods
- Bake, package, and merchandise breads, pastries, and desserts
- Rotate stock and maintain freshness standards
- Keep prep areas, counters, and displays clean and sanitary
- Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines
Requirements
- Previous deli, bakery, or food service experience preferred (but not required – we provide training)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $7.50 - $20.00 per hour
