Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital, located in Mullica Hill, is seeking to hire an Overnight Veterinary Technician to join our team! As a larger hospital, we have the ability to hospitalize our sick/injured patients overnight and monitor our surgery patients. Our Overnight Veterinary Technician is responsible for caring, treating and monitoring those patients. We are looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable animal lover.
Job Overview & Responsibilities:
- Must have strong veterinary care knowledge, patient treatment and vitals, post operative care and laboratory knowledge
- Administer treatments and medication to patients throughout the night
- Assist with emergency surgeries and procedures
- Place IVC, administer fluids, set up and change fluid bags
- Assist doctor with after-hour emergency appointments
- Safely restrain patients
- Set up and perform radiographs
- Blood draws
- Relax and settle stressed patients
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
