Delaware Valley Residential Care is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to assist our Program Participants with medical needs and concerns.
Shifts Available: Part-time and Pool Nightshift Weekends; 12-hour shifts, 7pm-7am
Responsibilities:
- Dispense and oversee medication management with oversight from the Healthcare Coordinator
- Assist Cognitive and Behavioral Therapists in behavior management of residents as needed
- Review Medication Administration records
- Communicate daily or as needed with physicians and healthcare providers
- Assist Healthcare Coordinator with monitoring chart accuracy and completion
- Assess and evaluate resident issues and medical concerns
- Document all pertinent resident medical/care information
- Participate in direct care of residents when needed
Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania LPN License, required
- BLS certification, preferred
- Must be able to weather the elements, as LPN will travel with the medical cart outside to each resident apartment on campus
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote a positive environment for both team members and participants
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm in tense and high-pressure situations
- Proven track record of timeliness and accountability
