What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Administrator position at Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, LLC?
The System Administrator is involved in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of KC-46 Maintenance Training System (MTS) IT systems and infrastructure. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable systems supporting the KC-46 MTS Training System Support Center (TSSC) and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) program personnel on all IT related support to maintain virtual training environment requirements, Augmented Hardware Training Devices and System Integration Lab (SIL). This position supports Air Force formal maintenance training and is 100% on-site. Daily and weekly work hours will be managed to meet training mission requirements.
Must be able to pass a background check for Military Installation and Facility Access.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the Maintenance Training Subject Matter Expert technical team,
- instructors, and students with IT and Network related issues.
- Provide assistance to instructors as needed in operation of all training devices.
- Support schoolhouse class scheduling by loading class requests within the LMS and
- supporting instructor tool and support equipment requests.
- Document and maintain discrepancies and corrective actions in forms binders and
- maintenance data collection system.
- Maintain close communication with the customer and support staff to ensure IT support tasks
- and issues are reported and resolved.
- Ensure network and communication compliance with DoD regulations.
- Confers with the government, other contractors, and teammates to maintain a training
- infrastructure to support the requirements of the training material and method of instruction.
- Experience supporting DIACAP accreditation or RMF Risk acceptance efforts.
- Experience performing security hardening (SCAP/STIG) of operating systems through group
- policy and registry settings.
- Administer Windows domain and enforce security controls compliance based on NIST 800-
- 53 and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Administer other Windows services as needed.
- Administer site workstations.
- Administer network infrastructure.
- Administer backup solution and disaster recovery plan
- Support other functions as needed
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
- Defense industry system administration experience with knowledge of compliance
- frameworks.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong VMware infrastructure skills
- Strong Microsoft Active Directory skills
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
