Delaware Opportunities' Safe Against Violence program is seeking a Child Advocacy Center (CAC) Coordinator.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology or related fields; and 4 years experience in human services required.
- An additional two years of supervisory responsibility preferred.
- Understanding and/or experience with child advocacy centers preferred.
- NYS driver’s license and willingness to operate Mobile CAC Unit and obtain Forensic Interviewing Certification required.
- Safe driving record and no moving violations within past 2 years.
This position requires a motivated and dynamic candidate who is able to provide direct services to families as well as the leadership skills necessary to work collaboratively with a multiagency team. The Coordinator is responsible for supervision and maintenance of the Child Advocacy Center and mobile unit. Additionally this position provides case management for all CAC related cases and interventions, as well as coordination of the Multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- The CAC Coordinator is responsible for providing case management activities for CAC cases including coordinating staff schedules to ensure proper coverage of CAC interviews.
- Driving the Mobile Unit as needed throughout Delaware County and scheduling and ensuring maintenance of the unit.
- Perform forensic interviews as needed;
- Oversee and manage data input and reporting;
- Schedule, coordinate, and conduct monthly MDT meetings as well as peer review meetings.
- Responsible for coordination of and being responsive to the needs of the MDT and it’s members.
Pay: $26.55 - $31.66 per hour
