Delaware North Sportservice is hiring for a full-time Catering Event Coordinator to join our team at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Catering Event Coordinator, you will work with fellow team members and clients to plan and execute events at Target Field. What will you do?
- Maintains all billing and post event billing
- Communicates with controller, all billing related issues
- Works with the Minnesota Twins/Target Field Events TFE and assists with event planning and menu selection. Creating of MN Twins proposals and contracts. Follow up with client.
- Works directly with Minnesota Twins TFE event staffensuring accuracy of floor plans and set up needs, outside vendors, etc.
- Oversee service of staff once the events starts
- Responds to issues, concerns, and opportunities with a sense of urgency
- Assists Catering Manager with quarterly inventory
More about you
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Working knowledge of budgetary practices for events preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Degree in Hospitality preferred but not required
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum of 2 years experience in administative or office position, including experience with office administrative procedures, use and operation of standard office equipment
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time and occasionally bend, stoop, reach, and kneel
