Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Supervisor to join our team at Elkwallow Wayside in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and training retail and kitchen team members and working to maintain retail and kitchen standards, policies, and procedures. What will you do?
- Open and close retail locations as directed by management
- Assist retail management with the daily cash procedures and operations
- Monitor store floor, assist with guest needs, and ensure integrity of physical inventory and par levels
- Regularly evaluate, create, and maintain professional visual displays
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the retail shops
- Help run and maintain kitchen and kitchen team
- Clean and maintain bathrooms
- Change trash
More about you
- Previous cash handling experience required
- Previous experience working with point-of-sale system required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Constant standing, lifting, climbing stairs, and repetitive motions
- Bending, reaching, and climbing on ladders
