The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Starbucks Barista to join our team at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Barista, you will provide the Starbucks Experience to our guests by delivering prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. What will you do?
- Act with guest service excellence, integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks.
- Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for guests.
- Maintain a calm demeanor to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
- Assist with new team member training.
- Follow health, safety, sanitation guidelines, and operational policies and procedures during each shift.

- Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- No experience or diploma required.
Physical requirements
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to remain stationary for the entire length of the shift.
- Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.
