Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Director of Food and Beverage to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for supporting the overall operations of the food service department, including helping manage the unit’s budget and performance while coordinating food production, service, purchasing, and quality control. Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $84,200 – $113,700 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?
- Oversee multiple restaurants and concession operations, including fine dining, buffets, quick service, traditional concessions, catering, and banquets
- Select, orient, train, and manage Food Service team members while controlling payroll costs and ensuring fair and non‑discriminatory treatment
- Plan menus, food and beverage specials, pricing, and product selections while developing new concepts to enhance food service quality
- Direct Food Service Managers and supervisors while conducting employee meetings, counseling sessions, and monitoring performance standards
- Manage financial and operational controls, including cash management, purchasing, inventory control, scheduling, and profit and loss performance
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, health codes, safety, hygiene, sanitation practices, corporate policies, and Delaware North standards
- Maintain strong vendor relationships, recommend equipment and products, support ongoing training, and collaborate with Group Sales on catered events
More about you
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the food and beverage industry
- Bachelor’s degree in hotel or restaurant management is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze and make sound business decisions
- Knowledge of Micros or similar point-of-sale systems
- Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License
