Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Catering Servers to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As a Catering Server, you will provide outstanding guest service while serving food and beverages in a banquet setting.

What will you do?
- Set up tables for the function according to the banquet event order.
- Transport food and beverages to guests promptly.
- Perform necessary tasks to service guests, including taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing dirty dishes.
- Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
- Monitor guest needs continually, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints.
- Replenish food on buffet lines as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and associates.
- Break down the event according to company procedures.
More about you
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Previous restaurant, catering, and/or banquet experience required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, including listening skills, and the ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly.
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for the entire length of the shift.
- Ability to lift to 30 pounds.
- Mobility to maneuver between tables.
Ability to work in variable indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions.
