The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is seeking an Assistant General Manager to assist with overseeing ballpark operations at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will serve as a key operations leader, responsible for developing and leading high‑performing teams, managing day‑to‑day operational processes, and overseeing budgets and expenses. The Assistant General Manager plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence across all areas of the ballpark.
Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $81,900 – $110,600 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
- Assist in establishing and implementing current and long-term objectives, plans and policies, and budget
- Build and maintain healthy relationships with license partners and maintain positive guest relations, ensuing enjoyable and memorable experiences
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of unit management and oversee supervision of team members and ensure company policy and procedures are followed
- Oversee the recommendation and creation of prices and portions for products and services within the approved profit plan
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding liquor, sanitation, payroll, and employment
More about you
- A Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business or related, or equivalent experience
- Minimum four years’ experience in premium food and beverage hospitality, with a strong preference for both premium and concessions in a high volume sports environment
- Strong P&L management skills
- Ability to coach and mentor a diverse workforce, working independently and as part of a team
- Organizational and time management skills, as well as written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven experience in providing excellent customer service
