Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dental Hygienist located in Newark, DE. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for providing preventative dental care, including cleaning teeth, performing dental prophylaxis, and educating patients about oral hygiene. The role also involves assessing and managing periodontal health, conducting dental examinations in collaboration with the dentist, and maintaining accurate patient records while ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for patients.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and skills in Dentistry and Dental Care practices
- Expertise in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis procedures
- Proficiency in identifying and managing Periodontal Disease
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to educate and interact with patients
- Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program and a state-issued license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant working environment
- CPR certification and knowledge of infection control procedures are preferred
