Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples using venipuncture and other phlebotomy techniques, adhering to aseptic procedures and safety protocols
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and processing according to established procedures
- Obtain vital signs and assess patient condition to ensure comfort and safety during specimen collection
- Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures, including patient information, test orders, and sample details
- Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience
- Follow laboratory techniques and physiology knowledge to identify anatomical landmarks for effective blood sampling
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following infection control standards and aseptic techniques at all times
Experience
- Prior laboratory experience or clinical laboratory experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and hospital procedures enhances performance in this role
- Experience with venipuncture, blood sampling, specimen collection/processing, and vital signs measurement is highly desirable
- Previous hospital or healthcare setting experience is advantageous but not required; a strong commitment to patient care is essential
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed protocols accurately while maintaining a compassionate approach toward patients

Pay: $24.11 - $29.04 per hour
