Intake Coordinator

FT - 35 hours per week

· Accountable to the Associate Executive Director

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Two years’ office, clerical, or human services case management experience
• Familiarity with the human services nonprofit organization environment a plus

· Satisfactory background checks: child abuse, criminal history, FBI fingerprinting

· Forty hours of sexual assault counselor training, provided by Delaware County Women Against Rape subsequent to hire

• Respond appropriately to telephone callers
• Greet clients and other visitors
• Maintain a clean, welcoming and hospitable environment in lobby and counseling rooms
• New client intake
• Record information needed for department managers and advocates
• Fill out forms, including case management electronic platform, accurately and completely while meeting all time-sensitive deadlines
• Coordinate resource information and files
• Assist advocates with client household case management as requested, specifically by linking client households to needed community resources
• Coordinate donations targeted to client needs
• Assist in all-agency projects or initiatives as requested
• Participate in all-agency fund-raising efforts Fund raising support
• Assist in planning, executing, and reporting special event fund raisers
• Other VOCA-eligible duties as assigned by the Associate Executive Director

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $39,000.00 per year
