- High School diploma or GED plus two years of computer support experience or College Degree;
- Thorough knowledge of basic hardware and software systems;
- Efficient and effective problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Exceptional client service skills;
- Thorough knowledge of all Windows platforms; and
- Experience supporting M.S. Office products;
- Experience with Microsoft 365 preferred
- Provides technical support to all county employees and agencies;
- Configures and installs new computer hardware and peripherals;
- Assists the Network Administrator in establishing new user and e-mail accounts;
- Maintains contacts with primary vendors and monitors vendors for current price points;
- Mitigates and remediates security vulnerabilities;
- Operates cabling scanner and metering equipment to trace network related problems;
- Prepares and maintains documentation of daily procedures and activities;
- Works independently with minimum supervision.
- Serves as the primary contact for calls made to the Help Desk.
- Provides training to employees as needed for various enterprise applications; and
- Provides other duties as required
