The job of Nurse was established for the purpose/s of implementing the support services with the philosophy and policies approved by the DCIU and DCTS Board of Directors.
Education Required: Targeted job related education that meets organization’s prerequisite requirements.
Certification Required: RN License or Nursing Certificate
Experience Required: Job related experience required
Experience Preferred: Training experience in job
Other requirements:
- Ability to keep accurate health records
- Ability to act as a team member in crisis prevention and intervention
- Ability to conduct workplace safety activities, conferences with parents regarding health and wellness needs, and health and wellness counseling for the faculty and students
