Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a High School Mathematics Teacher at Delaware Christian School, based in Delaware, OH. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in mathematics to high school students. Day-to-day tasks include creating lesson plans, evaluating student performance, providing individualized support, maintaining classroom discipline, discipling Christian high school students, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student success.
Qualifications
- A strong Christian testimony and the desire to teach in a Christian school
- Proficiency in Mathematics, including expertise in Calculus, Statistics, Geometry, and Algebra
- Experience in Lesson Planning and delivering structured and effective lesson content
- Familiarity with teaching Middle School or High School students
- Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field
- State teaching certification or the ability to obtain one
- ACSI teaching certification or the ability to obtain one
- Passion for education and the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Experience in incorporating technology into classroom instruction is a plus
