As our Quality Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality-related activities within the sites. You will lead a team of talented quality professionals, ensuring that processes, audits, and performance metrics align with regulatory requirements and business objectives. Your work will directly impact product and delivery quality, customer experience, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and empowering the five local quality teams in Americas
- Ensure operational adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Identify potential risks that could impact product quality or operational performance. Implement risk mitigation strategies, such as regular audits, robust quality control processes, and contingency plans to address quality issues quickly
- Monitor KPIs and act on trends to improve accuracy and reduce defects
- Manage internal/external audits, including reporting and corrective actions
- Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term strategies to meet DeLaval and Supply Chain Quality ambitions
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through systematic evaluation of processes and by encouraging innovation in quality management practices
- Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or production quality management
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams
- Deep knowledge of quality management principles and tools
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge; master's degree preferred (chemistry, biology, engineering)
- Relevant education or certifications (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt) are a plus
- Very good written and spoken English skills
