What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator position at Delaney Radiology?

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments, answering calls, taking messages, and performing other administrative duties. Candidates are required to come to the office for the initial training period, but the position has the potential to become remote once training is completed.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM.
Position Requirements:
- One year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical or radiology setting. However, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must possess strong communication skills, empathy, and patience.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential in this position, as is a commitment to confidentiality.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance is an added advantage.
