IT Technician

Position Overview:
Delaney Radiology is seeking a full-time Information Technology Technician responsible for the operational administration and network management of all printers, servers, and workstations. This includes the following:

• Daily system monitoring
• Storage media management
• Thin Clients (Remote Users)
• User management
• Network management
• Quality control and performance monitoring
• Training for new and existing users
• Troubleshooting and problem solving
• Security – including development and monitoring of IT policies and procedures
• Providing proactive technical administration, planning, coordination, documentation and management reporting for the Delaney IT infrastructure

Please note: This position requires an on-site presence and participation in after-hours on-call support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily monitoring of scheduled jobs, using monitoring tools
• Monitoring of NT Server Hardware, including monitoring RAID
• Adding/Changing/Deleting Users on Active Directory Server, including putting new users into appropriate user groups, granting appropriate permissions, changing user’s profiles, deleting users; and maintaining appropriate documentation for all NT user management functions
• Administration of G-Suite and our corporate email solution.
• Installing and maintaining other information software (e.g., MS office, e-mail, etc.) to workstations.
• Maintaining Windows Updates on employee desktop computers (e.g., Automate).
• Maintaining the Delaney Intranet portal adding and update news and employees when needed.
• Responsible for all computer, printer, copier preventive maintenance
• Communicate to IT Director any problems or circumstances that need to be addressed in a timely manner
• Inform IT Director of daily operations
• Ability to be On-Call during two week rotations and acknowledge and efficiently handle calls within a reasonable timeframe of 30 minutes

Position Requirements:

• AA/AS degree in a computer-related field plus two years relevant experience, or BA/BS in computer science or related discipline (or equivalent combination)
• Valid state Driver’s License and Automobile Liability Insurance
• Knowledge of computer hardware/software operations
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to interact professionally with users and provide clear instructions
• Strong attention to detail and time management
