What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reservation Agent position at Delamar?
Delamar West Hartford is seeking a Part-Time Reservations Agent to join their team. The Reservation Agent is responsible for answering multiple phone lines and entering all hotel reservations in a timely and accurate manner.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for handling incoming calls to the reservations department in a professional, efficient, friendly manner. Should be available to answer the phone within 3 rings utilizing the appropriate protocol in handling the guest inquiries.
- Responsible for keeping accurate records of all paper transactions and will be responsible for handling email and fax communications within the department in a timely and professional manner.
- Responsible for handling all reservations from website and GDS and transferring them into the OPERA PMS.
- Responsible for making sure all reservations and guest details are updated, and requests are communicated to other concerned departments prior to the guests' arrival.
- Must be willing to help the front office team when required.
- Responsible for booking all Spa appointments and coordinating with Spa employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have experience working as an Reservation Agent in a hotel setting.
- Flexible schedule- includes weekends and occasional holidays.
- Must have a great phone voice and strong customer service skills.
